We are seeking an ambitious and creative Paid Social Manager to join our dynamic Performance team.  

This is a 5-6 month contract role working on client campaigns for a leading global media network. Reporting directly to the Paid Social Client Director, this role involves managing the integration of paid social media strategies across various platforms and coordinating with other media teams.  

The ideal candidate will be based in Barcelona and will possess excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and a passion for delivering best-in-class solutions for our clients.

 Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with overall client objectives.
  • Act as the primary contact for daily social media operations, ensuring effective campaign execution.
  • Work with the Paid Social Client Director on budget recommendations, campaign benchmarks, and KPIs.
  • Manage client briefs and coordinate responses within the social media team.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of social media campaigns to meet objectives and KPIs.
  • Engage with social platform contacts to deliver innovative campaigns and test new products.
  • Prepare and submit award entries to highlight successful campaigns.
  • Monitor and manage paid social budgets, ensuring timely and budget-compliant campaign delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and client management teams to handle billing and debt management.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of junior team members. 

Requirements  

  • 4+ years of experience in paid social media management with a proven track record.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Deep understanding of paid social channels.
  • Experience in managing large-scale, complex paid social media campaigns.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively, and to quickly make sound decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong understanding of media planning and execution processes.
